Excerpt of a conversation I had over the weekend with my mom:

Me: I really wish sometimes Dad and I didn't argue so much. I kind of wish that I could actually have normal conversations with him, like you and I have. But he just gets me so aggravated... he really sets me off, and you know me, when I'm attacked, it's shields up and ready weapons, and I go in howitzer-style.
Mom: You know why he can push your buttons so easily?
Me: Why?
Mom: Because he installed them!
