Reality Remixed: Like Disco Lemonade
What better place than here?
What better time than now?

Okay, so I've caught flak from a person or two who asked me "which network are you watching the news on?" tonight and I told them I was watching programs like Blind Date and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. (Okay, admittedly, The Daily Show is moderately news-based, though not up-to-the-minute.) Listen, folks, there's only so much of watching the same non-information over and over and over again I can take. I saw the Presidential address. I saw the admission that cruise missiles had been launched. I saw the military analysts making all their predictions. But there's only so many times I can watch that. So, since I'm in need of short-attention-span theatre, I switched over to the other channels until something breaking happens, and I'm sure when something does happen, there'll be 16 people IMing me and calling me to let me know about it. Besides, if I hadn't seen The Daily Show, I wouldn't have seen the commander of one of our Navy ships say, "Make no mistake about it, when our president says 'go'... it's Hammertime." I couldn't even make this stuff up.
