Dad & I went to see "Star Trek: The Experience" at the Hilton. It was way cool, except they really do need to update it. Hello, people, the
Next Generation version of the Enterprise blew up like five years ago! They've had two movies out with the new ship and new uniforms and everything! Anyways, they're opening up a new exhibit in the spring called "Borg Invasion 4D" that's supposed to be way cool, so I'm going to have to go back and see that. There was a Borg wandering around the Promenade area, though he strangely had an Australian accent.

This is back inside the Bellagio. They've got this whole fall motif going on with a pumpkin patch, a haystack and a small farmhouse with some giant glass leaves. I knew I'd acclimated to living in L.A. when I first saw all the glass suspended from the ceiling and I thought, "Man, if there's ever an earthquake, this place'll turn into a deathtrap!"

This is the inside of the Paris hotel, it's the main shopping "street."

Here's New York New York (which was easily my favorite hotel) and the MGM Grand during the daytime.

Here's the Strip during the daytime...

...and what a difference a few hours makes.

Here's New York New York all lit up at night.

This is a night shot of Excalibur.

This is our hotel (the Bellagio) at night. I still can't get over how nice it was.

A lot of people don't believe me when I tell them that I drive with a lead foot, so I snapped this picture on my way back to Los Angeles. Yes, admittedly, it's hard to speed on city streets, which is where I do a lot of my driving, and while I'm occasionally aggressive enough to speed and dodge traffic a bit on city streets, I'm more careful there. However, on the open highway where there's nothing but a few hundred miles between me and my destination, I have no problem with stepping down on the gas pedal. Here's your proof that I'm a speed junkie, you doubters.
