In the second-largest city in the country, with a combined metro population of around 10 million people, you'd think I'd be able to avoid the people I don't want to see. So why is it that today, I managed to run into not just one of my ex-girlfriends, but also the rest of her family? The sad thing is that I wouldn't have even noticed it was them had one of her brothers not made an elaborate and inappropriate show of things, but then again, that kind of attitude seemed to run in the family and was one of the reasons why I broke up with her in the first place.
