On the one hand, I brought chocolate to my neighbor to thank her for letting me use her phone line -- and also to ask her if I could use it again to download this new software version that would allow TiVo to connect via the Internet. That's done. TiVo is now fully functional in my apartment. No more running phone cords from the apartment upstairs! On the other hand, I just broke someone's heart by breaking up with her. And as much as it hurts me and as much as I want to get back together with her and make everything right and continue to enjoy my time with her, I just don't think we're right for each other, despite the fact that she feels otherwise. And in the end, I have to do what's best for the both of us, because it's not fair to me to stay in a relationship that's not right and it's not fair to her for me to stay in this relationship when I feel the way I do.
