What better time than now?

The place is really starting to feel like home, which is great. Less than a week here, and I'm already seeing the benefits of living alone. I just desperately need some kitchen supplies and some furniture. And I think it'll all really start to sink when when I start getting bills to this address and think to myself, Wait a minute... I don't have anyone to split the cost of this with!!! For some strange reason, my dreams recently have been disturbing and involve me being chased, and usually also involve people and/or places from my past. Ever read the book or see the (bad) miniseries for Robin Cook's Invasion? Yeah, I was living that last night. In other news, I'm encouraged by the fact that schmucky old Bill O'Reilly actually said he is skeptical of the Bush administration, but he blamed it all on the intelligence community instead of blaming it on President Moron himself. Well, it's a start, I guess. Here's a nice little forward to make you think about while you're contemplating how well your money is spent and that record deficit this country is now sporting... When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300 degrees Celsius. The Russians used a pencil. Enjoy paying your taxes -- they're due again.
