Things I Have Learned and/or Realized About Myself Over the Past Few Days:
- I am a moral soul. So says Paul, after I told him that I was shot down today by yet another cute, intelligent, funny (and even Jewish!) woman who I’ve been interested in for a little while because she’s been dating someone else for a couple of months. When he responded that there’s ways around that, I said that I wouldn’t want anyone coming between me and my hypothetical girlfriend, so I wouldn’t do that to someone else.
- I am also a bit of a bastard. Umm… for reasons to be discussed in venues other than this one.
- I am a person of convictions. A heated discussion occurred last night on our way back from the performance last night about prenuptial agreements, and I stood my ground despite rabid amounts of opposition from the women in the car.
- I am also a bit of a hypocrite. Remember that whole thing about the women at the UCLA function I went to on Friday who I disengaged from when I found out how old they were? I told the story to a friend of mine—he’s two months older than I am and dating a 20-year-old, and when he called me on it, I was forced to admit that I would probably have hit on his girlfriend if I’d met her under different circumstances.
- I am capable of dressing myself. That one is courtesy of amandarin, and there is considerable evidence to support that theory.
