My dreams have been unusually intense for the past month or so, and I don’t mean intense like a Michael Bay film. I mean intensely vivid, as if you’re watching a movie where the sound is too loud and the colors are too bright—the psychological feed in my head is so strong that it’s making me feel like I’m not really rested when I wake up in the morning. Which is why I’ve been pretty much powered by caffeine for the last month.
A side effect of this is that I’ve actually been remembering aspects of my dreams when I wake up every morning. And last night, at one point in my dream, I suddenly found myself on the moon. So I went to this dream dictionary I’ve been using, and it says all this stuff about what it means if you see the moon in your dream, but nothing about what it means if you find yourself on the moon. Dammit, that’s not helpful at all!
Oh, and speaking of extra-terrestrial things, how odd is it that the last episode of a Star Trek series, ending the incredible 19-year run of having at least one Trek series on the air, would air on a Friday the 13th?
