“We’re going in!”
The funniest thing about The Core is the fact that when Hilary Swank appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, she was completely serious about the movie's plot, saying that it took the "fiction" out of "science fiction" because it was based in fact -- regardless of the fact that the ship they used was made out of something called "unobtainium" because it doesn't exist in real life -- and that she signed onto the project because she was looking for something with substance.
